Ever wanted to work in a creative profession that allows you to design, problem solve, and work with your hands on a daily basis? Come join the team at Maydwell Mascots! New hires are assigned to either the Sewing and Costume department or our Sculpture and Fabrication department.
The Sculpture and Fabrication department carves, assembles, paints, and polishes every aspect of the mascot from their eyes to their accessories. Then, our Sewing and Costume department takes over, creating the gloves, body, outfit, and fur on every mascot.
We’re continually on the lookout for talented artists and craftspeople who have a keen eye for design and details. We value artistry, as well as hard work. Every mascot represents a brand new challenge, and we value team members who can think creatively, solve problems, and work well with others.
Each member of the Maydwell Mascot team has their own workstation in our bright, spacious studio, and is allotted a budget for personal tools, in addition to the state-of-the-art sewing machines, airbrushes, and other tools that are available for collective use.
Typically, we hired new staff based on the strength of their portfolio and their personality, and we’re always willing to invest in those who wish to learn new skills.
